After graduating law school, Elizabeth took the Oklahoma bar and worked in Oklahoma City for a plaintiff’s firm for three (3) years. Her first job gave her the taste for trial work – taking in a trial each year and her first solo jury trial experience.

Wanting to get back to Texas to be closer to family, Elizabeth moved to Austin, Texas and took the Texas bar in spring 2014. Elizabeth practiced with Len Gabbay for two years before deciding to open her own law office.

Elizabeth has been running Larrick Law Firm for over two years now. Her office focuses on personal injury practice, trial work, preparing clients for depositions, and conducting focus groups. One of her particular passions is preparing clients for depositions and trial testimony.

Elizabeth is teaching faculty with Keenan Ball Trial College for witness preparation, focus groups, depositions and MIST cases. In addition to teaching, Elizabeth has spoken at several Reptile Keenan Ball seminars over the years on topics of demonstrative evidence, witness preparation, and trial.

On her journey to becoming a better trial lawyer, Elizabeth took a fellowship position to expand her legal experience and knowledge. From May 2016 until March 2017, Elizabeth joined the Keenan Law Firm and Don Keenan as a lawyer in his firm. The fellowship program allowed her to participate in nationwide trials, several attorney workshops and the day-to-day office business of the Keenan Law Firm. At trial she prepared and took witnesses, participated in trial strategy, assisted in preparation of other attorneys, and argued legal motions to the court. The fellowship program provided an opportunity to challenge Elizabeth at a level unknown before – higher level of cases, higher level of lawyering – and she is a better lawyer and person because of it.

Back in Austin, Elizabeth serves on the Texas Trial Lawyers Board of Advocates and the Capital Area Trial Lawyers Executive Board.

When not in the office, Elizabeth enjoys hitting Town Lake trail or the Greenbelt for a run – basically getting outdoors every day. She frequently visits Fredericksburg, Texas to see her family – mom, sister, nieces and nephew.
